We have all seen in the news and on our social media feeds the carnage floods have caused in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Millions were made homeless and thousands lost their lives. Millions are still sleeping in tents and homes with walls and roofs. Since the start of the floods, we have been on the ground delivering food, water, shelter and financial aid to flood victims in Pakistan and Bangladesh. However, as we go deeper and deeper into flood-hit areas, we see the carnage flood water has caused to the villages, towns and cities.

The scale of damage caused by these floods is unimaginable. Unless help gets to them millions will fall into permanent poverty. Winter is bringing another challenge for these families, they desperately need humanitarian to survive winter. Allah is testing them and us. Their test is to stay patient during these difficult times and our test is whether we share part of our wealth with our brothers and sisters in need.

Since the launch of the Bangladesh emergency flood appeal, you donated hundreds of food packs and donated your Zakat to financially assist families who have lost everything in Bangladesh Floods.
