Monthly training walks in the company of Shaykh Ahmad Dabbàgh. (subject to health & commitment)

The next planned walk will be a COASTAL WALK including Sand Dunes, and will take place on Sunday 17th August in the North West of England in preparation for our main challenge the Jabal Al Alam Morocco Walk which is to take place Spring 2026 Insha’Allah. The Coastal Walk will begin 10am and finish at 5pm.

Transport provided from Bolton/Oldham Zawiyah

Please note Male and Female participants are to walk in separate groups.

Anyone who turns up without registering will be refused to participate with the group.

1. The registration cost is £10 which is non-refundable. (£17 after 27/07/2025)

2. Should participants not be able to take up their place, all donations or sponsorships already paid to the charity will not be refunded and will be used towards charitable projects.

3. Whilst we endeavour to follow the itinerary provided, there may be exceptional circumstances when this is not possible. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the itinerary as necessary. Due to the nature of the event being outdoors and the advance planning necessary, changes may have to be made and organisers reserve the right to do so. Should a material change be necessary, organisers will inform participants as soon as is reasonably possible.

4. All participants take part at their own risk. The organisers are unable to accept liability for any injury or death, loss or damage to property however arising, or for cancellation of the event for any reason outside of its control.

5. It is compulsory to cover the Awrah during the duration of the event & wear modest clothing.

6. The organisers reserve the right to use any photographs or videos taken of participants on behalf of the charity to raise awareness and/or funds for the project.

7. ACCEPTANCE OF RISK: Your booking is accepted on the understanding that:
You are aware that the event, in addition to the usual dangers and risks inherent, has certain additional dangers and risks, some of which may include:

* Physical exertion for which you may not be prepared for unless you have invested time in training for the event.
* Weather extremes subject to sudden and unexpected change
* Remoteness from normal medical services
* Evacuation difficulties if you are disabled

8. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions in this form, participants are confirming that to the best of their knowledge their general state of health is good and they take full responsibility for their health and personal wellbeing. It should be noted, regardless of the age of participant, that every care should be made to ensure that they are fit enough to take on the challenge.

9. This list of Terms and conditions is not exhaustive and an individual contract upon acceptance will be in addition or will supersede any point intended to do so by the Charity.

10. If you have any Covid-19 symptoms, you will not be eligible to participate in this event. It is solely the participants duty to make the team aware if they have any symptoms. The charity will not be made responsible for any issues that arise regarding Covid-19 during the event. All participants are to practice 1 metre social distancing and good personal hygiene.

11. Dabbagh Welfare Trust reserve the right to use any footage and photography taken during the course of the event including training, events and challenge on the day.

12. By registering you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and you are giving consent to Dabbagh Welfare Trust to use any footage and media at their discretion within the charity’s objectives.
