Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Dabbagh Welfare Trust to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Dabbagh Welfare Trust we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Dabbagh Welfare Trust to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that Dabbagh Welfare Trust will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Dabbagh Welfare Trust receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.

Qurbani in India | Share the Blessings of Eid with the Forgotten Ummah

This Eid ul-Adha, perform your Qurbani in India and feed families who have been left behind by society. In many Muslim communities across India, poverty is severe and widespread. With rising costs of food, medicine, and rent, fresh meat is simply out of reach for millions – especially widows, orphans and daily wage workers.

Your Qurbani will bring more than just meat. It will bring dignity, comfort and joy to people who rarely experience either.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“There is no deed done on the Day of Sacrifice that is more beloved to Allah than the spilling of blood…”
(Tirmidhi)

Let your sacrifice reach those whose plates are empty this Eid.

Why Donate Qurbani in India?

Muslims in India often live in marginalised communities, facing both poverty and discrimination. Many lack access to quality education, healthcare and stable jobs. In villages and urban slums alike, entire families survive on very little, and fresh meat is considered a rare luxury.

By donating your Qurbani in India, you’ll ensure that struggling Muslim families receive a fair portion of fresh meat during the days of Eid. Dabbagh Welfare Trust works with reliable partners on the ground who follow strict Islamic guidelines for every sacrifice and ensure the meat is distributed directly to those most in need.

Only Cow Qurbani Is Performed

In India, your Qurbani will be fulfilled using large animals only.

  • One full cow: Qurbani for 7 people

  • One share in a cow: Qurbani for 1 person

All sacrifices are performed after Eid salah, within the days of Eid, and in accordance with Islamic rulings. The meat is distributed fresh, not frozen, to preserve its nutritional value and impact.

A Sacred Act with Lasting Reward

Allah says in the Qur’an:
“So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].”
(Surah Al-Kawthar 108:2)

Your Qurbani in India will bring immediate joy to families who have very little. It is an act of worship and a form of mercy that connects you to the most vulnerable in our Ummah.

Give your Qurbani in India through Dabbagh Welfare Trust – and let your sacrifice be a source of relief, reward and renewal.

Donate your cow share now. Fulfil your Qurbani. Feed the forgotten.
